Media Lario congratulates Blue Skies Space for the launch of the Mauve Space Telescope

Media Lario congratulates Blue Skies Space Ltd. for the launch of Mauve, the world’s first private space telescope, on 28 November 2025, set to provide the astrophysical community with access to the first privately funded space-based astronomical telescope.

Jeff Lyons, CEO of Media Lario, said, “We are delighted that Blue Skies Space has adopted one of our high-specification telescopes with custom optics for the Mauve mission. This collaboration and the ingenuity of our combined teams created a unique design for this critical scientific mission in record time. The win-win collaboration allowed us to provide BSSL with a timely and cost-effective solution based on our proprietary Repli-formed Optics™ technology. We feel very privileged to be part of the Mauve mission and look forward to continuing to support Blue Skies Space Ltd as they expand access to space-based astronomic research.”
