Media Lario congratulates Airbus Defence and Space and the Centre National d'Études Spatiales (CNES) for the launch of the CO3D satellites on 25 July 2025, set to map the globe in 3D for public and private needs.
The CO3D satellites are the latest generation of very high-resolution optical Earth Observation satellites produced by Airbus to address advanced governmental and commercial needs. Designed with high performance and extreme platform agility, the CO3D satellites will acquire images from different viewing angles to create three dimensional (3D) maps of the globe at unprecedented resolution. Media Lario supplied advanced optical components for the satellites, developed using innovative technologies.
